(Finally) Celebrating Our Anniversary!

Brian and I are finally celebrating our one year anniversary! We were married on September 6th, 2013. Our actual anniversary was one of our first few days at home with Colton. With a four-day-old baby, our celebration was pretty limited: we watched half of Frozen before we got too tired and went to sleep.  Don't worry, Brian still got me flowers and a delicious dessert!

Last week we decided to do more of a celebration. We took Colton to the park where Brian proposed and we (finally) ate pieces of our wedding cake that we had saved.

Below are pictures from our celebration and Colton's sixth and seventh weeks of life.

For comparison, here is how we spent September 6th in 2013 versus 2014.

Random Adorableness

At almost 6-weeks-old, Colton continues to capture our hearts with his utter cuteness. Here are a bunch of random pictures from his fourth and fifth weeks of life.

4 Weeks Old

Looking cute in his whale pajamas

Sad face :(

Colton's first wedding! (While outside of the womb)

His first time in the whale bathtub... Not sure what he is thinking here.

Ready for a very important business meeting.

I tried to document some morning story time. He doesn't look very happy about it.

5 Weeks Old

 A smile!

Grumpy pants

Colton's first playdate with hit little friend, Lydia!

Spending time with Daddy. Look at that little face!! He melts me.

Colton's first time at playgroup! He got to "play" with his little friend Nolan.

One Month Old!

A better title of this would be "Colton is One Month Old + Meeting More Great Grandparents + A Bunch of Random Pictures from Brian's Phone". However, I thought that was a bit lengthy.

One Month Old

Colton is the cutest one-month-old around! I can't believe it's already been a whole month since this little man entered the world. He isn't a teeny tiny newborn anymore! (Well... he was never really that tiny, but still).

Pictures

Below are some "One Month" pictures of him as well as more random cuteness from everyday life.
Colton also had a visit from more great grandparents. And I finally got pictures off of Brian's phone from a few weeks ago when we had more Nicklaus relatives visit.

One Month Pictures

Cute cute cute

"Ahhh yes, the light"

I call this one "Tipped Over".

Cute Little Colton

Giving a "smile" during tummy time. (Spoiler alert: it wasn't a real smile. Just gas.)

Trying a bottle for the first time.

Just pondering life.

He loves a good stroller ride.

He has already mastered baby sign language. Or at least the "I love you" sign... while sleeping.

I'm not sure if he's stretching or declaring a touchdown.

Fall baby!

Worn out from being so adorable.

Napping in his crib like a little superhero.

Go Pack Go!

Colton had a run-in with a bear at Scheels

Enjoying his bouncer

That lion toy clearly did something to offend Colton.
