Our wild little man is 10 months old! Colton is becoming such a big boy. He is the speediest crawler I've ever seen, and he loves to pull himself up so he is standing. He even took his first steps!
Here are some more updates on our little man...
- Colton took his first steps! On July 9th he took a couple of little steps. Since then, he amazes us by walking a little bit each day.
- He is getting better and better at standing up by himself, especially when there are toys in his hands.
- Not only can he go up the stairs, he can now go down them as well.
- Colton has started waving when prompted.
- Colton has also started clapping (when he feels like it).
- He will now lift his arms up to be held if you ask him "do you want up?"
- Colton's favorite shape is a circle. How do I know that, you ask? Well, he loves to grab circle-shaped objects and never let them go.
- He enjoys bouncing, especially to music.
- Colton LOVES his daddy so much- he gets so excited when Brian comes home from work. He loves to climb on Brian and giggles like crazy when Brian chases him.
- He still loves food. He loves to shovel food in his mouth and make a huge mess while eating. He also loves to eat Cheerios that he finds on the floor. (For the record, I DO try and keep the floor clean. However, he has a habit of banging his tray and knocking Cheerios on the ground. They scatter, and he manages to find them before my broom does.)
- There are still no teeth in his little mouth.
- He is becoming slightly more interested in books. (However, if *I* am reading a book, he MUST play with it and/or crawl on my book so that I can't read.)
