Thanksgiving

Colton's first Thanksgiving!

We spent Thanksgiving Day with Brian's side of the family. Then we traveled to Indiana for the weekend.  Colton met a lot of his family, including his Great Great Grandparents.

I also got to meet my baby cousin, Landon, who is only four days younger than Colton.

Great Aunt Ana and Great Uncle Mark

Cousins Nicole and Sofia (Well, they're my cousins. But "cousin" is easier than "first cousin once removed" and all that).

(Sorry, Dana- somehow I didn't get any pictures of you with Colton! We'll have to make up for it next time we see you by taking 1,000 pictures.

3 Month Pictures

Colton was 3 months on December 3rd. Here are the photos.... Better late than never, right?

SO CUTE

I feel like 90% of pictures of him are blurry- he is always wiggling.

Uh, could someone help me out here?

So serious.

 Suspicion.

I think he was over pictures by this point. Still, so cute!

11 Weeks

Colton will be 11 weeks old tomorrow! He continues to grow (A LOT) and we see more and more of his personality developing.

Some updates on our little man:
  • Colton normally sleeps between 6 and 8 hours each night.
  • He continues to pack on the pounds! Colton is a solid little tank. I hear "he's so big!" quite a bit. :)
  • Most of the time, Colton is a content baby. He doesn't seem to mind (or even notice) if another baby or toddler accidentally rolls on him or pokes at him.
  • Colton loves looking at lights and peoples' faces.
  • He loooooves to smile and "talk". For a two-month-old, he has a lot to say. One of his favorite activities is to sit in his bouncer and smile at you.

He is just so cute!

Just a loving and tender moment between me and Colton...

Colton says "Wanna fight??.... Just kidding. Licking hands is my favorite activity."

Colton went to visit Brian at work.

Oh, hello!

Enjoying his blanket from Grandma and Grandpa Nicklaus

He doesn't seem to be aware that he is holding his pacifier. But at least he looks cute in the onesie that Rachel made for him!

Story time with his daddy before bed... Colton still doesn't understand how to look at pages.

So snuggly

Colton is NOT impressed that I am trying to burp him

Another one from Halloween... Brian as a Rams player catching the baby football.

Colton with Aunt Laura during our Pella visit (AKA I found some more pictures on Brian's phone). Not sure what Colton is doing in this one, but at least it's a good picture of Laura!

This video of Colton "talking" is from a while ago, but for family who hasn't seen it yet:
