11 Month Update

We are only one month away from little Colton becoming a one-year-old!
  • Colton is walking! Although he still stumbles and falls sometimes, he is getting better and better each day.
  • He can now sign "more" for more food.
  • Colton is still good at waving and clapping when prompted.
  • He is becoming more cuddly! Colton has always been such a wild little man. He is normally too busy playing and exploring to be cuddly. However, lately he is starting to show more affection.
  • Colton loves to throw balls- he will throw a ball to you for you to roll or bring back to him.
  • He actually just loves to throw things in general: balls, pacifiers, books, etc.
  • His favorite word is still "dada". However, I think I have heard him say "mama" a few times. So I am going to count it!
  • Colton babbles all day long. Sometimes when he is ready to eat he'll say "nananana" repeatedly. My theory is that this is him trying to say "banana". (He loves bananas!) Or maybe that's just his term for food in general.
  • His latest obsession is with drinking water. If he sees a cup, he starts waving his arms in excitement. He LOVES drinking water out of a cup!
  • This kid still loves food so much. He is starting to show preferences- he will eat peas and green beans last. However, he will still eat them.
  • He finally has a tooth! (Kinda) A bottom front tooth is finally, slowly, making its appearance.
